Ember Migraine Tracker
Delete Your Ember Account
You can permanently delete your Ember account and associated data at any time.
Delete your account inside Ember
If you can access the app:
- Open Ember.
- Go to Profile or App Settings.
- Select Delete Account.
- Follow the confirmation prompts.
Deleting your account permanently removes your Ember login account. Data stored locally by Ember on that device is also deleted through the app's deletion process.
Request deletion by email
If you cannot access the app, email hello@cascadeheadache.com from the email address associated with your Ember account.
Use the subject line:
Ember account deletion request
In the message, include:
- The email address associated with your Ember account
- A clear statement that you want the account deleted
We may ask you to verify ownership of the account before processing the request.
What is deleted
When an account-deletion request is completed:
- The Ember authentication account associated with the email address is deleted
- Account identifiers associated with optional support purchases are removed or disassociated where technically permitted
- Ember does not store headache diary entries, medication records, treatment records, or reports on its servers; those records are stored locally on the user's device
Purchase records that Google Play, Apple, RevenueCat, payment processors, or legal and accounting systems are required to retain may remain subject to their own retention requirements. These records are not used to restore access to the deleted Ember account.
Deleting your Ember account does not automatically cancel any active optional support subscription. Active subscriptions should be canceled separately through Google Play or Apple.
Processing time
Email deletion requests will generally be completed within 30 days after any necessary account verification.
